Weekly Opportunities

Sunday Morning LifeGroup (Sunday School)
9 - 10:15 a.m. in Room 232
Breakfast/Hangout from 9 to 9:15. 
Activities/Bible Study from 9:15 to 10:15.
We attend the 10:30 Worship Service.

Weekly In-Home Bible Study (Begins After Labor Day)
Meet with other College and Career students for food, fun, and fellowship in the comfortable setting of a church member's home.

Wednesday Night Supper
Eat Free on Wednesdays at 5 p.m.
Make your reservation by Tuesday noon, 334-4600. Inform the office that you are a college/career class member.

Meet Our Leaders

Dale Pingel
LifeGroup Leader

Dale is a United Parcel Service delivery driver and has been a member of Lynwood for 15 years.  He and his wife, Rene', have been leading the college and career ministry since the summer of 2008.  They have two daughters.  Whitney is married to Ryan Bandermann, is a kindergarten teacher, and they attend Lynwood.  Lindsey is a sophomore at The University of Missouri in Columbia.  Dale enjoys reading, studying the Civil War, and is the Crew Chief of the Chain Gang for Southeast.  His favorite verse is Philippians 4:8:  "Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable--if anything is excellent or praiseworthy--think about such things."

Rene' is a retired high school business teacher who has moved from teaching business skills to using those skills in a doctor's office where she now works part time.  She enjoys reading, working out, and riding her bicycle.  Rene' and her two daughters love to shop and watch chick flicks together.  Her hope is that all students will grow in their walk with Christ through daily devotionals.  Isaiah 40:31 is her favorite verse which says:  "But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.  They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." 

Rick Bandermann
LifeGroup Leader

Rick is a Financial Advisor with Merrill Lynch and has been a member of Lynwood for 12 years. He and his wife have been involved in the college and career ministry since 2007. They have three sons, two daughters-in-law, and one granddaughter. Pam and Rick enjoy serving at Lynwood with Jason, Sarah, and Ansley and Ryan and Whitney. Their third son, Kyle, lives in Knoxville, TN and is pursuing a Ph.D at UT. Rick served bivocationally as Minister of Music for 24 years in three different churches and is an active participant in Lynwood’s music ministry. He enjoys the outdoors and spending time with his family. College ministry is near and dear to the Bandermanns’ hearts because they met while in college at Southeast.

Pam is the Director of Federal Programs and Grants at Woodland School District in Marble Hill, MO. She enjoys reading, scrapbooking, finding treasures at garage sales, and selling those treasures on eBay. Her favorite times, though, are spent with her family – especially the time she gets to spend with her granddaughter, Ansley. Pam’s greatest desire is to see students grow in their faithfulness to the Lord Jesus Christ and for them to develop a life-style of service for His kingdom.

Meet Hannah Smith

  • I grew up in Edwardsville, IL and now reside in the lovely Towers Complex at Southeast.
  • I aspire to someday be a nurse who makes a significant impact in the lives of sick people.
  • My ultimate goal in life is to do missions in a way I can't wrap my head around but only God can plan.
  • I don't like animals unless it's my dog, Daisy.
  • One of my favorite places to be is on a beach, alone, during sunrise or sunset.
  • My favorite place to eat in Cape is Saffron, which is totally amazing.
  • I come from a gigantic family, like the Brady Bunch. Oh, and I really love it.
  • One of my most effective ways to de-stress is painting.
  • I actually love going to class and learning.
  • If I could move anywhere in the United States today, it would have to be in the mountains, maybe Wyoming.
