Lynwood is excited to welcome Mark Anderson and his family back to the Cape Girardeau area! 

Mark has agreed to accept a call to return to Lynwood Baptist Church as Senior Pastor.  The Anderson family will be on the field in July and Mark will begin preaching/teaching on Sunday morning, July 27.

Mark has been in pastoral ministry since 1983 and has served churches in Oklahoma,  Florida, Missouri, and Mississippi.  He served Lynwood Baptist Church from 1994-2000 as Senior Pastor and has been serving Colonial Heights Baptist Church in Jackson, Mississippi in the same role for the past 8 years.  He and his wife, Karen, have four children. 

Mark has earned degrees from Baylor University (B.A. Religion, 1981) and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (Master of Divinity, w/languages, 1985).
