UPWARD at Lynwood Baptist Church offers an evangelistic sports ministry specifically designed for first grade through sixth grade boys and girls. Upward promotes salvation, character, and self-esteem in every child by teaching practical skills while ensuring that "every child is a winner." In addition to basketball, Upward at Lynwood offers cheerleading and flag football.

Upward also provides opportunities for volunteers from all walks of life to become meaningfully involved in our church. Volunteers will have the opportunity to pray for the ministry, coach a team, referee a game, share a devotion, develop relationships and open avenues to minister to the people of our community.
