Preschool Curriculum
Our preschool curriculum is designed and written specifically for the Lynwood Preschool area. It is a character-building curriculum based on God's Word. Each month we focus on one character quality through Bible stories, Bible verses, songs, and games. The two-year curriculum helps children learn what it means to be brave, thankful, obedient, and kind, among others. Children also learn the meaning of Easter, Christmas, and Creation. We have a special friend named Diggity Dog who visits us on video to help us learn. The curriculum begins at age one and continues through age four. Parents receive information each week to help them foster biblical teaching at home.

- Provide a safe and secure environment for children.
- Put the Word of God in the hearts of our children.
- Distribute information to parents that support the preschool curriculum.
Regular Schedule of Events
Sunday Morning
-Childcare for children from birth-12 months
-Curriculum study for children one to four years of age (preschool) during both worship services at 9:00 and 10:30 am
Sunday Evening
-Childcare for children from birth - 4 years of age
-AWANA Cubbies for 3 & 4 year old children from September through May
Wednesday Evening
-Childcare for children from birth - 2 years of age
-Mission Friends for 3 & 4 year old children

Mother's Day Out Ministry
Purposes of Lynwood Baptist Church Mother's Day Out
1) To provide a safe, happy, Christian learning environment for preschool age children while they are under our care.
2) To encourage the growth of each child spiritually, emotionally, physically, and socially.
3) To help parents realize the importance of the preschool years in their child's spiritual foundation.
We
believe preschoolers learn best through biblically-based,
age-appropriate teaching activities. We implement the "Little Lambs"
and "Wee Learn" curriculums for our one and two year old classes, and
the "Wee Learn" and "Little Hands to Heaven" curriculum for our three
and four year old classes. The preschool years provide the most vital
time for adults to lay spiritual foundations in children. Every bible
lesson that is taught in our preschool department is done with great
purpose. Our goal is to prepare children for a personal commitment to
Jesus Christ that will take place in later years.
Our
program operates under the Missouri Department of Health license-exempt
status and we meet all state requirements through yearly inspections.
We are approved to accept children ages one year old through five years
of age. We meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 am - 2:30 pm.
